Office International

  • The Office International is making an inventory of innovative projects on allotment sites in the associated countries

Switzerland, Germany and The Netherlands

The Swiss, German and Dutch National Federations are preparing the theme for the next three international meetings. The next meeting between the three national federation will be in november 2011 in Germany.

Germany

  • The German Federation and the federation from Saxony are cooperating with the Czech Federation in order to help them to get recognition in the Czech society.
  • The German Federation has choosen a new president. It is mr Norbert Franken from Berlin.

Great Britain

  • The National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners presented a new website: http://www.nsalg.org.uk.
  • In Great Britain a extensive research will start concerning health and gardening.

France and Poland

An agricultural and scientific research center is planning to organize a study concerning allotment gardens in Poland, Brazil, France and Russia. The study will deal with the question concerning the putting at disposal of land, the future of allotment gardens and their capacity to provide people with food.
